Still in Control

God is still in control.
In the midst of uncertainty, fears and anxiety we can count on the One who is faithful. He makes the sun rise and sets every single time. He never misses a day. Great indeed is His faithfulness.

Verse: Let the entire universe erupt with praise to God. From nothing to something he spoke and created it all. He established the cosmos to last forever, and he stands behind his commands so his orders will never be revoked.
~Psalms 148:5‭-‬6 TPT

Wars. Plagues. Natural calamaties. We have experienced these for thousands of years and yet we are still here. Why? Because the Lord’s purpose will prevail. Whatever He has decreed shall come to pass. No one and nothing can stop our God from fulfilling His Promises. Whatever word you have received from the Lord hold on to it because the God we serve never slacks nor slumbers, He is not slow concerning His promise, He is faithful to fulfill it.

God is in control. We are SAFE.

1. We are Secured in His love. There is a song that says ‘there is nothing you can do to make Him love you more’. His love is eternal, it is complete, it is not based on your performance or works. His love is not given in installments nor withheld to get something out of you.
   He loves you unconditionally and wholly not expecting anything in return. He is not manipulative nor a control freak. He has given everything not by saying it but what He has done through Jesus. He did not spare His only begotten Son that we may be saved and experience the amazing and abundant life He wants us to have.
   God doesn’t want His children to in secure of what they think they are not and they dont have. But He wants us to be secured in what we are in Him and what we have because of Him.
2. We have Access to Heaven’s Resources. We are God’s children not orphans. Because of Jesus we can come boldly to His throne of grace, we can ask Him all that we need and even the desires of our heart, we can pour out our heart’s concerns, fears, worries, troubles, pain to Him and most importantly we can spend time with Him in His presence.
   Heaven’s resources are all the blessings that we need to fulfill what God called us to do and to be. It is more than the physical, emotional or financial provisions – it is divine connections and relationships, empowerment, spiritual gifts, kingdom favor, supernatural protection, and most importantly His Word and His Spirit living in us.
3. We can Fight the enemy and be assured of Victory. We wrestle not against flesh and but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We are to take the full armor of God daily. This life is a fight and we have an enemy that is hell bent on destroying God’s destiny for us but he will never prevail for no weapon formed against us shall prosper. If God is for us who can be against us? It is our Lord, the Lion of Judah who is on our side and He fights for us.
   God can anoint the small pebbles in your hands to defeat giants. Whatever you have right now, God can multiply it and use it to make you victorious. Our God never fails and we are as His children have this inheritance.
4. We will Excel in whatever we do. People who are secured, complete and unstoppable in God has nowhere to go but to become all that God designed them to be. It is God who blesses the work of our hands and we know that whatever we touch will be blessed because of God’s power and anointing.
   Each of us have different gifts and talents and the Word of God says it will make room for us before great men. Do not neglect or underestimate the gift that God has given. You have no idea how God can use mightily for His glory. Maybe some of us don’t know where and how to start. Remember God always asks: what is it that is in your hand. Meaning what is that you have right now. Use it, do your part, give your best and God will do His. Excellence is a trademark of God and is evident in His children. He will make you succeed because His Name and reputation is at stake. Indeed we are more than conquerors and we can do all things through Him who strengthens us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for everything we have, everything we are and everything you have prepared for us to possess. Indeed great is Your faithfulness. You never fail and we will not fail because You are with us. We are safe knowing that we are secured in Your love, we have access to Your provisions, we have the Victory in you and that we will excel because You have blessed the work of our hands. May we know You deeply and trust not in people or in our strength but to trust in You completely. Thank You for your unfailing love, may we walk in the destiny You have set for us. And may You get all the glory in everything that we do. This we pray in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
