Birthing of your Destiny

Text Verse: Isaiah 7:14 NLT “All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).”

Psalm 127:3 NASB “Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.”

Genesis 1:28 KJV: “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

It is amazing that God designed and created man to conceive through the female by the union of male and female. And He purposedly did that because He knows He will be entering earth through human conception. For the purpose of saving us from our sins and restoring us back to our original position. John 1:14 ESV “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Not only men are conceived, but also dreams and destiny. All of us are given a purpose and a vision to be conceived and released to the earth.
God has finished every detail of our totality (personality, gifts, talents, strengths, purpose, vision, destiny, location, gender, parents, environment) before He released us to this earth. God did not make a mistake. We are created in His image and likeness. We are born to rule and reign like our Father in heaven. We are to have dominion on earth like our Lord Jesus Christ. We are born to carry God’s Presence, His Spirit in us.

Now, God exactly knows the reason, the intent and the purpose why we are here on earth. God knows the perfect timing of everything. Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” There is a time to be born. And that includes your assignment and mission.

What are the Reasons why God births in us His Purpose for us?

  1. Our Purpose MAKES US PRODUCTIVE. God wants us to produce that we may be productive. When we deliver what we are suppose to deliver on this earth, we become productive in the sight of God. If you are designed to teach, then teach. Create lessons, books, teachings for God’s glory. If you are created to be a chef, then cook. If you are designed by God to be a manager, then manage. Whatever He has called you to do, to do it. You may have not done it, it may be difficult to start, you may think that you are not qualified to do it, but don’t let anything stop you from doing your purpose on earth.
  2. Our Purpose BRINGS US PEACE. If we are outside our calling, it will always bring stress and misery. Why? Because it is God’s way of saying that you are out of your purpose. If you have found your purpose, you don’t need an alarm clock. You are automatically disciplined and passionate about it. You can do it 24/7. Fish don’t take swimming schools. Birds do not apply for flying schools. And your gifting and calling does not need anyone’s approval. God has already approved you beforehand. Pursue His purpose for you and you will have peace and fulfillment.
  3. Our Purpose CREATES IN US PERSISTENCE. All of us experience challenges and difficulties. But if you are in your purpose you are never sidetracked. That is why it is important that we receive and know God’s calling. If you know that God has called you to that area, then no one and nothing can stop you. God will provide all the necessary resources and that includes perseverance, energy and persistence.

Father in Heaven, we thank You for Your Word. We ask that You reveal unto us the area we are supposed to be in, the calling You have for us and the destiny You have prepared long before the creation of the world. We thank You for everything You have given us. Teach us to use our gifts, talents and strengths for Your glory alone. All praise and honor and glory belongs to You alone, in the mighty Name of our Lord and King Jesus Christ. Amen.
