Text Verse: Hebrews 11:1 NIV
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

God has given us Promises, on which He is committed to fulfill. Our God is the God of all creation, the God who created the universe and in it by the Word of His Power. Our God has no beginning and no end, who sustains and upholds everything. Who forgave us of all our sins by sending His only begotten Son. And who has the power of resurrection and restoration. He is the One who promised us. And He assured us that whatever He said He will do.

Faith is our confidence in God that He is faithful to keep His promises. Faith is when we believe that God will provide even when can’t see it in the natural. We have the assurance that in the spiritual it is already given by God. The world says to see is to believe. But we as men and women of faith, to believe is to see. John 20:29 NIV
Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

What kind of faith does the Lord honor?
The Centurion’s Faith. Matthew 8:5-13 Jesus Christ, God made flesh, marveled at the faith of the centurion. Because he only needed the Word of the Lord for his prayer and request to happen. Matthew 8:8‭, ‬10 NIV
The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
God is pleased when we operate by faith. When we walk with confidence and full trust in Him. He is delighted when His children rely on Him alone, not on people, not on riches. Our faith should be directed to none other than our Lord Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith.

Lord, thank You for giving us faith to believe and hold on to Your promises. We may not see it at the moment but we know it will surely come to pass because You are faithful. We declare your victory and no weapon formed against us shall prosper. For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory. In the mighty Name of our Lord and King Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.
